If you are just graduating from your courses or are feeling like you are becoming pretty seasoned, you will want to begin to really putting a strong marketing spin on your business to take it to the next level. First of course, you will need a website. If you have not done this yet then this should be a priority for you. This is a professional stamp on your business and builds trust with your potential customers.
Your website should have a dynamic landing page, which is where the customer will first go when clicking on your link in Google. Dynamic doesn’t necessarily mean full of color and graphics though. Keep in mind that these potential customers are coming to you for help, not to be entertained. There is nothing entertaining in just getting into an accident or even a fender bender. Your role, sometimes, will crossover to a compassionateshoulder to cry on and therefore you will need to keep this in mind when developing your site. The extent of mental damage caused by accidents is far reaching and sometimes long-lasting. Dropping in on a site that is loud and bright could very well be counter intuitive.
Your site doesn’t have to be a Zen Garden either, you need to strike a balance. Oftentimes, new students or new website owner’s, go to one extreme or the other so balance is best. Once you have figured that out, you need to ensure that your site is user friendly. The potential customer should not have to work too hard to find what they need. They simply don’t have the mental capacity, following an accident, to play games. They want answers and they want them now.
